Envision Love Certificate FAQs
Will the certificate have both of our names?
Yes. You will receive two certificates and each one will have both of your names listed on them.
I completed the course, where is my certificate?
Your certificate is available after you spend a minimum of 4 hours in the course and pass the completion quiz at the end of the course. To check if you met all of these requirements, please refer to our article "
How do I pass your course?"
Can I get the certificate if I complete the course in under 4 hours?
All couples must spend 4 hours in the course as this is mandated by the State of Florida. If you haven't reached the 4 hours, just find any chapter you wish to re-visit and spend more time in it to make up the time.
Reviewing pages with external links that leave the course do not count toward course time.
Does my county accept the printed certificate or will you mail the certificate to me?
The only counties that will not accept your printed certificate are Dixie, Hardee, Levy or Taylor counties. We must mail your certificate to you because they require the official certificate, not a printout.
HOWEVER! To avoid waiting for the certificate to be mailed out to you, you can go to a neighboring county and get your marriage license there instead. No matter the county, your marriage license will be for the state of Florida.
Do I need to print my certificate or can I just show it to the courthouse clerk on my phone?
You must print out the certificate to bring to the county clerk. They will not accept seeing it on your phone.
